imo, yes they are good if you have the money
well it depends, if your really into the high quality graphics and u have the money then dual video cards is fine but i reakon 1 is enough
and yes high end games do utilise the two cards

power consumption of SLI video cards mean shorter battery life.
Impractical really; unless you have it plugged into the socket 24/7 .. and even then; why not just get a desktop?

desktop all the way... but it still even dual GPUs is useless unless you will be doing high end gaming... you can go triple to if you have the cash...
= crisis on very high graphics with no lag :p

i like how everyone compares their comps graphics power to crysis. its kinda funny. cept my laptop would be sub-low if it even lets it install
