I apply for UOW early entry and i got asked to be interviewed for my spot, the problem is that through recent personal matters i cant travel to Wollongong because of financial hardship, family separation and parents illnesses and distance (3 hour flight followed by 1 and half hour train ride or 14 hour drive). Will it hurt my chance of getting in if i do the interview over the phone or something like Skype? should i even worry about doing the interview if i cant attend it in person?

It shouldn't.

I would ring up and ask them for advice on what to do, e.g. if you can do the interview via skype or telephone. I'm sure they get lots of people from rural areas and international students not able to make the trip.

Yeah, I go to boarding school in Sydney and got an offer for law this morning.
Have to travel four hours to an interview, I'd reckon it would hurt your chances slightly but like it would definantly show how much youd want to study there if you were there in person
