From what I've seen, guys.

I was never a confident person, so from my perspective it was immensely difficult for guys to make the first move That said however, in wider context I don't really think that gender makes that much of a difference.

I agree that there's perhaps still some of the expectation for guys to make the first move, but I also agree that it's vanishing pretty fast, so I guess in the long run it just comes down to the invididuals involved

Definitely easier for guys, because girls can actually sense it when a guy likes them, whereas guys are blind to that sort of stuff...if not blind, they normally get the wrong message...

But as for success rate wise, i think girls have more of a chance when they make the first move...because naturally i think guys can like girls very easily

Its so easier for girls. I mean a flash of those eyes, and a guys stung. They have a rack to manipulate, and a walk and those mannerisms are so easy to change and perfect in order to impress someone. Guys just have to stand there and wait for a chick to pick them out, dates have no meaning in todays society and honestly, the chick has it easier.
