whoever wrote that economics competition must have have read the first page of some year 10 commerce book because that was the EASIEST thing ive ever done.

ill probably get the higest certificate possible

come on... whose idea was it to ask who wrote the wealth of nations? (smith) and was he the same person that put in the RBA governor? (ian mcfarland)

man... UNSW Faculty of Commerce and whatever should be primary school

lol yeha minai pty ltd. it was pretty easy but i haven't studied yr 10 textbook ever...i was a dropout in yrs 10/11. i didnt even know smith..:$

that question threw me of track a little
when i thought of minai, i thought of BOS, then i thought of the internet in general, then some computer games. lol

yeah but on the ian mcfarland one i got really confused because it was so easy i thought it must be a trick question...i had to re-read the question several times to make sure i read it properly!!!
It was okay though, i forgot what ceteris parabus was though...myeh dun care though much, doesnt count....;)

heh, I was gonna make that question harder...but it woulda got changed to something easier anyway..

i put down keynes too, i could swear he wrote the welath of nations...come on...do u ever hear the smithian policies? and aggregate demand--> wealth of nations?! bah i was deciding between the two!

Nah, just take the test without studying. Shows how much you actually know. Then you can address the problem areas.

Is it something we should know, for the HSC?

I did not study for it!- maybe that's why I found it, to be so hard!

I think it's mentioned in topic 1.

In case you don't know, Adam Smith was the one who proposed the idea of absolute advantage. One of his disciples, Ricardo, proposed the idea of comparitive advantage.
