ECON1101 Essay Style (1 Viewer)

Quick question for those that have done ECON1101 before. In our final exam we have 2 "essay questions". I'm curious - is there any particular style you should write in to secure the marks? For example, should we be trying to add value to our responses by including a lot of analysis, or should we focus more on just belting out the definitions of terms and concepts and describing how they inter-relate? Basically, should it be written like a HSC Economics essay or what?

i'll be doing hsc style :) lots and lots of half page diagrams!

If my final (2003) was any indicator..you wont need HSC style - its much easier than that - the essay will probably involve you explaining theories from a given situation and be asked to explain what you have done with calculations

Although I hear the course has changed a bit since I did it....

one of my friends emailed the lecturer and he said that by essay style he meant 'sentences'
i think its just short answer questions but you gotta kinda moosh em into a chunk. i dunno if you get what i mean haha
