How much of a disadvantage will I be doing a commerce degree if I didn't do economics as a subject in the HSC?

They teach you from scratch. /personal experience
Like I only did Prelim Econ and some of the stuff there was revised, but most of it... went back to Year 10 Commerce stuff - really back to basics.

Microeconomics ECON1101 really is Economics 101. This is coming from someone who didn't study any HSC economics or maths.
You'll be fine.
Though my coordinate geometry and graphing was slightly rusty when it came to drawing simple models. But you should be fine. haha
