Hey,
I am sort of interested in teaching at high school, especially in the subject areas of English and Ancient History. Would anyone be able to tell me about the course/s I would have to do and marks and things? Just anyone at the Cambelltown campus? Anything at all. Thank you.

umm, well i think teaching and education is a postgrad qualification now (verification please???) but to do that, you ahve to do a B Arts and majot in english writing and texts and then do a masters in teaching or education which requires an additional 1-2 years.
i thinks thats how it is anyway.
um, i dont think its offered at campbelltown, maybe bankstown, penrith for the arts subjects...
sory i cant give any more info, search the handbook at the uws site.

im interested in teaching high school to, and found information on:

http://www.uws.edu.au/studyoptions/australian/undergraduate/courselist#16

about teaching.

its pretty useful.... tells you what you have to do... what degrees would benefit you in that regard n stuff... also has infor on the Dip. Ed which you have to do after your degree to become a teacher... takes a year (accelerated) or 18 months :)
