Doing Crime Fiction, Got 16/25 and 22/25.. overall 76%.

Not too shabby considering how unprepared i was, and the difficulty the first question. How did you go?

I think we did the independent paper... for speculative fiction, elective3.
25/25 and 23/25... so band E4. I'm seriously in shock, i thought i totally stuffed up my 'critical' question.
The questions were something like a radio interview with two people, differing opinions on the conventions of the genre... i didn't get the questions back though because it would be breaking the 'security' period.

Well we were supposed to do the CSSA but our teachers thought it was waaay too easy, plus all the controversy about the Modules paper, so they made their own which was a little harder then the Catholic paper but nevertheless still straightforward.

I did Texts and ways of thinking, elective: Postmodernism, and I got
21/25 imaginative
23/25 essay- my teacher said I had excellent textual knowledge, and that I just needed to engage with the question more. Which I realised when I was finishing the question, so its all good.
I'm overall very happy with my marks (top of the class) so I think with a little more practice I could get full or close to full marks in the HSC. :) Thats what I'm aiming for anyway. Although I'm not pleased about Extension 1 being the the day before Ancient History in the HSC. Argh.
