mmmmmmm r u sure this question is relevant to the syllabus? i do remember describing ways to minimize harm from high tension power lines, but not the effect it has...
anyway, this is what i remember. most of the harm is really contributed from actual electrocution:
-can disrupt the electrical nerve pulses in the body
-burns, scars
-involuntary muscle contractions
-heart fribillation- yr heart wouldnt beat normally, and so wouldnt be effective in pumping both oxygenated blood to body and deoxygenated blood to lungs, and so, u will eventually lie from lack of oxygen.
-remember: most of the damage is caused by CURRENT, not by VOLTAGE
