Just wondering if anyone knows what you actually need to have in order to get it. I'm currently a FT student but am switching to PT next session. I'm also thinking of doing 3 subjects (18UOC) instead of 2 subjects (12UOC) and wonder if that'll constitute FT with concession sticker?

You count as a full time student so long as you are doing a .375 HECS load per semester (ie 18 credit points if you do UTS and i think its the same for UNSW). So if you do those 3 (18UOC) subjects then you'll get FT status and the sticker I presume.

I'm more wondering about next year... if I'm gonna be doing 3 subjects in Semester 1, will they still give me the sticker even if I'm only enrolled for 2 in Semester 2. I heard that you need to be enrolled FT for both sessions before you are eligible for the sticker :(

Haha that's what I was planning on doing ;) I just wonder if I have to enroll in 4 for both sessions; or just the one which is about to start.

They are changing the policy as we speak. Is just a matter of time.

Whatever session is coming up (in your case session 1) all they care about is session 1. I wasn't enrolled in my s2 subjects yet was given the sticker

wot does that have to do with it? international students are students of unsw as well... also they generally have to pay full fees as opposed to hecs... giving them a concession sticker isn't too much to ask..

when did i say that they didn't deserve to have one? it was simply an observation, and from what i see, it's mostly true.
