I know a bunch of people who can enter their emails from optus.com.au, or mac, or gallery and even one from yahoo who can enter their emails on messenger and enter. How do you do that?

Hmm, they might be using MSN Plus! and the POP e-mail ability in the preferences of the program.

He means using msn with other email adresses.
You have to register your email at www.passport.com
WHen you have done that the email is in the Microsoft database meaning you can then sign into msn with it
