It can be done, but some practical experience in relevant areas helps a lot with the exams or so I've heard.

Speaking of which, I have about a month to decide which specialist subject to do this year. It would have to be General Insurance, Investment or Finance.

Investment and Finance are the easiest but General Insurance is somehting I should have the most direct experience with by the time of the exams.

I think new syllabus comes into effect in 2005 ? I should really look at the convoluted transitional arrangements in more detail.

As I said, I'm still thinking about it. It depends on which subject I try first.
