Has anyone been nominated for composition? I've been nominated for performance, just wondering if composition nominations have been sent out yet

last year the composition and musicology nominations were spread out
People received them from september-december

yeah apparently thy mark compositions along with the aural papers etc. so it wouldn't of come out yet

Does that mean they'd mark musicology essays along with the aural papers as well?

Yeah, those should've come out weeks ago - both online and by mail.

...I thought they didn't have nominations for Musicology. The time I went to Encore (in 2012), they didn't mention anything about it.

Ahhh that makes sense...we never got the programs for some reason Phew, they only named two people for the Music Extension, so even though I wasn't nominated there is still a chance for a decent mark.

i got one but i couldnt be bothered repractising and rerecording all my songs. id love love love love to perform at opera house though ;-;

Congratulations. The school told me that I got nominated for composition too, however, I am not sure when we get an individual letter or email confirming this.

Okay so I am kind of getting worried now. Although my school has told me that I have been shortlisted for encore, I haven't received a formal letter or anything. Has anyone else received one?

does this mean you have been nominated or selected?

I have been nominated (received a letter at home months ago) but since then I have not received anything. But it does say "mid- December" so I would expect it to come soon, but either way it will most likely be a "unfortunately there are a lot more nominated than can be selected" letter anyway...
