Anyone do Engineering at Deakin? Im looking at switching from USQ to Deakin to do engiqueering by distance. Any good?

I know someone who's been doing engineering by distance at Deakin for a couple of years now. I get the impression that Deakin by distance is very organised and a well structured course.

Yeah I must agree- Deakin is excellent for its distance (off-campus) learning, take it from someone studying an off campus unit right now! ON the engineering front i dont have first hand experience but i've heard from others doing it thats its pretty good.

Its not that bad really, good support and stuff and resources but some of the courses are so badly done its not funny. Some are good but the odd one that is terrible makes it hard to not hate the place.

Well I don't know, I can't speak up for USQ because I have no idea what it's like to study there, and I don't know what kind of issues they have with their courses. All I know is what I've told you about Deakin. Are you located in QLD? I think you're required to make your way down to Melbourne to attend some intensive 1 week classes or something during the semester, with Deakin.

Nah, southern NSW, which is why Deakin sounds good. Res school is 15hrs away currently. Only like 5 for Deakin.
