So I am still in doubt which engineering I am going to do next year.
I read all the information about the engineering flexible first year.
Apparently it is only one semester and after that you have to choose your engineering stream.
But i reckon it's alright, more time for me to think about which engineering stream i am going to do for the rest of my life
for mainstream engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil and cs/it), it is guaranteed to get in after first year, while for other specialized streams such as aerospace, civil geotechnical, etc, student can get in if students has atar above the cut-off or if student has credit wam

is my understanding about this program allright?A common question regarding the FFY program is the relationship with the established ATAR cutoff that has been set for a particular degree stream. First of all, if your ATAR is above the cutoff for the degree that you choose, then you will gain automatic entry into that degree program. Second, automatic entry is guaranteed into any of the general degree streams: Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical and Computer Science and Technology. Finally, if you choose a specialized degree stream and your ATAR is lower than the established cutoff, then your performance within your first year courses will determine the outcome.
