I've got a hard choice to make now. I've picked almost all my subjects now:

MX1 maths
Physics
Chemistry
Adv English
1 unit SOR

but I'm deciding whether to allocate my last 2 units to Engineering or German. Engineering seems good and I'm doing both extension 1 maths (im in accelerant course) and physics so I think i'd have the knowledge for it, but doing German (with open high schools, my school doesn't offer it) seems pretty fun. I honestly don't know what to do. Do any of you do either subject and can share some opinions here?

Which one are you more interested in?

Engineering studies: learning about stuff relating to engineering (eg. mechanics, civil structures)

German: learning another language

German is probably less work than engineering and might be more fun overall, but engineering will overlap with some of the work you'll be doing in both Chem and Phys, but then that might be a reason to do German if you're looking for a change...

IDK, if you think you can handle slightly more work, I'd do engineering but thats just me, I'm not into languages anyway that much TBH.

Good luck with whichever you choose tho! :)

Engineering, if you really enjoy physics and Maths or if you want to do something related to engineering in future

german, if you want a bit of variety in your subject choices

depend on wat level u doing for german..if u doing continuers,,go for it..
but u are only doing beginners..i suggest u to do engineering studies..

compare to scaling..
german continuers > engineering > german beginners..

becoz i did japanese in year 9 and 10..
is not easy to pick up language..[maybe is just japanese]
is either u get it..or u dont..
but engineering is just another theoric lesson..
so there is shouldnt be any problem..
but i can tell u..doing a language need more time to study than any other subjects..[maybe except maths extensions]
