Hey,

English is one of the most difficult subjects to grade, and I was wondering how the teacher and/or marker grades you.

For example:

You have to analyse a poem, that is the techniques and the concept.
What happens if your interpretation of the poem is completely different to the actaul concept.
Will you be given a lower mark?
And if you are given a lower mark, why? It's your interpretation

any help or comments will be greatly appreciated

we had this argument about the viewing/representing task.
basically, they have a marking guideline that they stick to. its not so much your interpretations (although it is to some extent) but more how you write about them. so if you write well, you should do well.
