so I'm doing an assessment on an Othello (the part where Othello kills Desdemona) text and My Last Duchess (another text we have studied) and the question: "narratives connect people within and across culture and times. To what extent is this evident in Othello and one other text?

I'm not sure how to explain this question.

My last duchess is about a duke telling an unidentified person about all his prized possessions and one is a painting of "his" last duchess and implies he had her killed because she was too appreciative of other people especially men.

First talk about the main themes being shown. Are there any themes that are relevant to today's culture? if yes then that already tell you about how that narrative from that time is connecting with people from this time. (sorry if it doesn't make sense)
