alrite, ill give u the name of a movie that will give u awesome marks. DONNIE DARKO. its one of the only current movies that follows the journey. It's an amazing movie in itself. You have to watch it anyway, even if not for english, but really do ure piece on it...it's perfect

I read a great book on screenplays for ext 2 about that.
It was "The Writers Journey" and had these case studies of all these different films as following the Hero's journey - titanic, pulp fiction, the lion king, the full monty, star wars, wizard of oz, and maybe somthing else.
It was really in depth, you should give it a look.
