I did frankenstein, it's really cool if you get into it properly.

some texts (some of these are movies, some not):

films/tv shows
Young Frankenstein (mel brooks)
Frankenstein (1931, famous boris karloff version)
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994 version with kenneth brannagh and robert de niro, is much closer to the novel than the 1931 version)
Weird Science
Reanimator
episodes from season 4 of Buffy including Adam - I think the ones I used were The I in Team, Goodbye Iowa, Primeval, Who Are You?, This Year's Girl, The Yoko Effect - if you're a Buffy fan this is a fun and easy related text : )

short stories/books:

mary shelley - the reanimated man
jane webb - the mummy
william maginn - the new frankenstein
villers de l'isle adam - the future eve
fred t jane - the incubated girl
w.c. morrow - the surgeon's experiment
dick donovan - some experiments with a head
harle oren cummins - the man who made a man

if your teacher has it, or you can find it in the library/a second hand bookshop, there's a volume called 'the frankenstein omnibus' which has all those stories I mentioned plus a few more, is very helpful.
if anyone needs any help, I really enjoyed this topic, so feel free to pm me :)

//IS THIS AGAINST THE RULES??//

ANNOUNCEMENT- Does anyone have some extraordinary ideas for a short story? Perhaps you know of a nice, spacious and comfortable site that i could set myself up in and read some info on the hows, whos, whats of shortstory making.

*structures*formats*plot ideas* .....think of your response as pre-draft, er pre-publishment responder author interaction...*
