So I have just started our unit of "power" and we have a oral presentation for our first assessment task! For my related text, I'm tossing up between 1984, Truman Show and Clockwork Orange! The teachers are being no help, is there anybody who has possibly done these texts and could offer me some advice on which to do?!

Well there's heaps of power related texts. You can do the Great Gatsby (film/novel), Schindler's list, The boy in striped pajamas, Shaw Shank Redemption, Fahrenheit 451, Oliver Twist, Animal Farm. I'm not too familiar with those texts but Schindler's list is a very good related text for power. Hope that helped!

Short, simple and a strong short story.

Teachers don't usually help with related texts, seeing its up to you to decide in the end.
