So...What is the scaling for English Advanced?
In the Preliminary yearlies, I got 1 mark above the mean, which was 55%.

Just wondering if maintainance of around 55-60% would scale me down heaps.

Oh and might as well ask for all my other subjects...

How is the scaling for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Mathematics Extension?

And say I get around 60% for English, 8X% for Physics, 9X in Chemistry, 8X in Biology, 9X in Mathematics, 8X in 3U Maths...........What would be my approximated UAI?

english is going to bring the whole thing down quite a bit. i would say if you get what you say you are going to get, it would mean mid 80's or so.

ok, 55%-60% is a 11-12/20, thats a high C range, so ur looking at high 70s or maybe just low 80s.

8X% for physics is pretty damn good for raw since theyre such bitches in taking marks away, so an 80 would probably be a very high band 5 or very low band 6 on an average exam.

9X% for chem is pretty much for the "elite" in the state, its not easy to get 90% raw in a chem exam (coz they take ur marks away like bitches). A 90% in chem will probably be in the mid 90s from 94 to 96 depending on how easy the exam was.

dont know about nio.

90 in 2u mathematics, probably mid 90s, 93-95 again, coz 108/120 isnt a bad score!

80 in 3u mathematics is probably a high band 5 or low band 6, i.e. 44-45. Ur looking at a 67.2/84 which isnt too bad
