the rumour of it being discursive is only used to scare us. The backlash they would face if they specified discursive would be crazy they would never.
if nesa chose a discursive it would probably affect english alignment and scaling a lot more than usual due to how many people would be unprepared and would do terrible. i dont think its impossible that nesa wants a discurive, but i think it would give them more work and just not be worth trolling 2/3rds of the state

I’m ranked 32/110 for eng standard realistically what final mark can I get if I get like 75% in hsc? We get only 1 band 6 per year for English standard

mostly depends on how well ur cohort does, I assume it would be in the band 4 range raw marks, scaling + alignment might pull u up to band 5
