Fair enough, but can you honestly imagine the banality of responses to a question that asks how and why a text evokes passion or trembling within you, the 17 year old responder, who has perhaps read half of the relevant sparknotes?

If that cunt wants the HSC English syllabus to be like that then the compulsory subject has to swap to history.
Writing history essays would be more useful to someone entering University than the English essays he wants.
