english teaching is where you go if you cannot teach anything else (who doesnt know this??). A bunch of wankers made up a subject just to keep them in a job and off the streets.

Haha, I love looking through forums like this now that I am an English teacher myself.

I had shit teachers when I was at school and wanted to make a difference. And I'd like to think that I am.

Bitching and moaning about your teachers won't help you - teachers are there as guides - by the time you get to Year 12 it shouldn't be so much about what the teacher knows, but what you know yourself.

Don't use teachers as an excuse. Think of it as a motivation. Maybe eriito and random can lose their arrogant attitudes towards teachers and try and make a difference instead. No wonder there are a lot of poor teachers out there when the kids at school have an attitude like you.
