MY understandinis that entrenched = that law which is codified within the law, and there is absolute, for example and entrenched right is freedom of religion. Where as implied is something which is almost like customary law, it has become accepted over time, for example freedom of speech. I think thats right anyway lol

entrenched - this law (term is often used to refer to constitutions) has supremacy over other statutes that are inconsistent with it

implied - not expressly stated but can be inferred from the words used
