Im not sure if im understanding your question right but do you mean something like:

"How does Gilgamesh relate to todays world" or something similar?

If you do some similar values can be:

Gilgamesh wants to complete heroic deeds so he can be remembered forever. This is a common theme/value in todays society as people want their memory to be remembered forever and not forgotten after a cou0ple of generations such as graffitti or people writng their inscribing their names at famous places. Because wanting to excel in life is and make a name for yourself is a part of human nature and this hasnt changed over time.

Theme of arguments between elders and students or adults and younger people who believe they can do anything and dont need other people advice. This is shown when Gilgamesh doesnt listen to the elders when he leave Uruk and when he also doesnt listen to the gods. This is common today as young people dont listen and argue with parents.

Another theme is when Gilgamesh goes on a quest for everlasting life. This is another theme in todays world as scientists try to develop new medicine/technology so people can live loneger and how people get surgery to make themselves look and feel younger.

Hope this helps.
