has anyone got a list of all the equations we need for the course? or know a play where i can find them.

even just the ones we need (not the actual equations:p)

It's just the basic stuff.

Neutralisation, combustion, acid+metal....etc.

Neutralisation: acid + base ---> salt + water

Combustion: non- metal + oxygen ---> carbon dioxide + water
metal + oxygen ---> metal oxide

Acid + metal: Active metal + acid ---> hydrogen + salt

Acid + carbonate: acid + carbonate ---> carbon dioxide + salt + water

That's all I know so far...I don't know if that helped or not.

I think he meant things like ΔH=-mCΔT

And be careful of your non-metal combustion :p. What if I burn sulfur there is no CO<sub>2</sub> released.

pH=-log<sub>10</sub> [H<sup>+</sup>] but thats in the syllabus :p

Not exactly an equation but make sure you know how to calculate the volume of gases at 0 deg C and 25 deg C at 100kPa.
