Does anyone know how we are meant to structure an essay asking to measure effectiveness?

Are you meant to go:
Para 1 - Intro
Para 2 - Equality
Para 3 - Resource Efficiency
Para 4 - Accessibility
Para 5 - Protection of individual and recognition of rights
Para 6 - Resource efficiency for society
etc...

or what?

And same for Law reform

Para 1 - Intro
Para 2 - Sources of law reform
Para 3 -
etc...

by the syllabus

And what makes you think they will ask that kind of question?

I don't think they will be asking a question that specific, especially in the area of Law and Society.

Doesn't have to be in an essay form

hey,

you dont have to write essays in the legal studies course. You can use point form if ya want, it doesnt really matter just as long as you have all the info there in some sort of ordered fashion

Yea, my teacher told us we can draw like a brainstorm sorta diagram thingy. You know, with the topic in the middle and the related info stemming out from it.
I don't know if I'd do that though. It somehow seems a little bit dodgy. I'll stick with the bloody essay.
.... Does watching 'Law and Order' count as studying for Legal Studies exams?

Certainly does  ...

Does wasting time on the net, and watching some porn count as studying for the HSC?

I don't know about the last, but apparently the Board of Studies recommend students reward themselves after completing a unit of study.

I did it the way I've always answered Legal Qs....

memorise issues (and only issues) in sequential order, including cases, reports, legislation etc (and I actually used media articles for once), and then interweave your actual answer through the issue, and sum up at the end. Easy.

i just used the criteria for effectiveness of the law and put relevant cases, legislation, a few made up articles and a few reports in each relevant heading... it hides the fact i don't know much

Did you make sure it was balanced, talking about individuals for half and society for half? I did about 80% on the individual, i'll probably get marked down for that hey?

not really because there was more criteria to fill for individuals, i'd say mine was 65 individuals and then 35 society
