When you have to do an essay on a prescribed text and 2 related texts of your choice. Can someone give me a structure??

Like if I do the novel (PT) then film (RT1) and poem (RT2) is this how it goes.

Intro
First point
Discuss first point using PT and RT1
Second Point
Discuss second point using PT and RT2
Conclusion

Or for each point do you have to compare the PT and BOTH the RT???

That would work fine. It doesn't matter how you do it.

Intro
Point 1
All texts
Point 2
All texts
Conclusion

Is another one you can use. As is:
Intro
Text 1
Text 2
Text 3
Conclusion

Cool thanks.

I had over 800 words written for my first point comparing the PT and RT, so pretty long. Just gotta do 2nd point and RT2 and then conclusion, easy.

Hate essay structure :(

Although I would do it like:-

-Text 1
-Point 1
-Relate to text2/3
-Point 2
-Relate to text 2/3
-Conclusion

yer but you gotta give techniques/examples/effects for each text. so by the end you get quite a bit of information out. so its easier to just do PT and comapre it to a RT, then do second point and compare it to second RT.
