Hey, i was just wondering if anyone knows whether the structure of the essays you have to write in subjects like physics, biology etc counts, or can you just write as much as you want without structure, as long as it makes sense?

no structure, you can practically use dot points if you wish, just use the key words and explain yourself and you'll be set

i think if you are actually attempting to write an essay, then you need some sort of logical progression, ie. structure, otherwise you'd get marked down if the examiner can't follow you. but since you can write in different text types, then write dot points if you don't want to structure your essay, you probably won't get marked down on it.

it depends on the verb. eg.-for justify:
1. Provide a definitionfor what you are being asked to justify
2. in the same paragraph, State your argument/point of view/conclusion.
3.points for argument. take a paragraph for each point and expand on it.
4.Restate/ rephrase your argument/point of view/conclusion

yeah my teacher basicall spent a whole week drilling us to use the proper structure for our responses as we will get marked down if they dont follow the requirments of the verb.
