what foundational topics from prelim course are essential for hsc, like the topics u absolutely have to know or you're done for

so definitely the mole calculations and concentration calculations which is basically mod 2
also know the intermolecular forces and that stuff and some of mod 4 like enthalpy, gibbs free energy and entropy, as well as reaction rate and collision theory

you should end up revising basically all the prelim stuff you need when ur doing yr12 so realistically not much tbh

just be decent at calculations fr

calcs have me dead 🫥
as long as you understand the content they should be fine

most calcs are the same anyway so you'll pick it up by doing a lot of calcs

i was pretty buns at yr11 chem in the sense that I didn't rly understand the content and still ended up doing decent in HSC. If you do some trial papers or just the yr12 content it should become abundantly clear what you need to revise

Ifl the foundational concepts make more sense when applied to the yr12 shi
