Students across the country surreptitiously searched the internet for answers on a bathroom break, peered at others’ answers, and asked supervisors how many millimetres are in a centimetre.

Some teachers are like actual idiots, our school has this infamously bad sub who tries too hard but don't have the skillset to teach. Like she's supposedly trained as a science teacher but when one of my classmate asked her a physics question, she responded with "ummm you're supposed to this question by yourself and I'm not supposed to help you", mind you only a minute ago she told our class that she can help bcs she's a 'science teacher' and the question my classmate asked was a prac question from our textbook. She also once subbed in for english, and told me to use ai to write my practise imaginative like wtf????? Anyways I think we should make the requirements for becoming a teacher higher and give them better bonuses otherwise the next generation will become dumber.i cant really read the article but i remember for our minimum standards test our teacher let us use our own calculator
the reason why the requirements for becoming a teacher arent that high is because its in demand and like @Hehehe22 said a lot of people dont want to go into educationSome teachers are like actual idiots, our school has this infamously bad sub who tries too hard but don't have the skillset to teach. I have an issue with saying half a sentence and never finishing it, but yeah i know the reasons behind the low requirement and the lack of respect educators get from broader society annoys me. In a way, I feel like that's a reason why some countries do better than others in terms of education.the reason why the requirements for becoming a teacher arent that high is because its in demand and like @Hehehe22 said a lot of people dont want to go into education
Unpopular opinion, but I don't think the education system is horrible in Australia, if anything one of the possible problems would be attitudes towards education.the whole education system in Aus needs a revamp
factsthe whole education system in Aus needs a revamp
Yeah true. But also the teacher problem, the hsc system/syllabus for certain subjects and making education more fair and accessible for all people is something they still have to fix. Especially the problem with public schools lacking resources and funding. And most importantly #antihscenglish lolUnpopular opinion, but I don't think the education system is horrible in Australia, if anything one of the possible problems would be attitudes towards education.
But yeah even the kids in my brother’s primary school complain about only 20 mins of homework a day in year 5 and all they do is play Roblox all day long, showing no interest in learning what so ever. And that’s influencing my brother tooUnpopular opinion, but I don't think the education system is horrible in Australia, if anything one of the possible problems would be attitudes towards education.

All teachers in training have to sit the LANLITE. In short, yes. But it's not like you'll be having to do calculus to pass the maths section; it's pretty simple maths, so as long as you have some intuition with maths, it shouldn't be too tricky.wait if i want to be a high school teacher do i have to do the test because i dont do math for a reason
