I know its not good to dwell on past performance in exams, but with the pressure of the tests we all make mistakes. Anyone wish to confess any major "oopsies" they've done under pressure?

So far, I forgot to refer sufficiently to the Crime section source in Legal Studies and Lord am I kicking myself for that. I'm also worrying that I did not blatantly obviously answer Q1 of the Advanced English paper (in spelling the question right back at them frequently and verbatim).... I'm sure I'll do worse before I see the exams out (Halfway completed... statistically I'll commit two more errors if I'm lucky)

Anyone committed a worse test/subject faux pas?

i always make the normal mistakes like not reading the questions properly, rushing etc. i tend to ramble off on a tangent in english but you know, its been ok throughout the year so itll be ok now.

like you said, theres no point dwelling on past performances. who knows, you might even suprise yourself when you get your marks back :)

Yahh, I have a problem with that. I made the hugest blunder on my Studies of Religion paper. Apparently Muhammed Abduh was all for science and religion, when I said the total opposite!

And somehow I never answer the question. Half yearly tests come back and they all have "answer the question" on it in red.

*cries* Oh well, it's only the HSC..

Check out this one, it rules.

In Transformations Module for English Paper 2, I was giving textual evidence by quoting the line "A comic pornographer and a rabble of prostitutes." .. although I incorrectly quoted... I had a brain freeze and wrote "A comic prostitute and a rabble of ..... " and decided to leave it to come back to if I remembered. By the end of the essay I still had no idea and this is what the HSC marker will be reading...

"A comic prostitute and a rabble of priests." - it sounded familar at the time, I realised not 5 seconds after walking out of the hall. But I think its hilariously funny, markers should have a good laugh I think.

Try skipping half a question for maths ex2 just cos you didn't see it - not like the exam wasn't hard enough...and i threw away 11 marks! *sniff* Oh well...no point dwelling...at least 3 unit counts for more now

The whole HSC. Should've spent more time studying and less time stuffing around.

Maths 3u was pretty dodgy today. The 2nd part of the projectile motion question - should've moved on quicker. I got the answer when I looked at it for the second time, but as I was working it out, I ran out of time.

The second part of questions 7 was just a joke.
