I am a student (selective) who has just finished year 10 and I'm going onto year 11. I would love to go on exchange some time, but I'm not great with languages or memory (I have dabbled in Spanish but can't seem to be dedicated). I was thinking, considering that it is now too late to go on exchange in early 2010 (is it?, I'd have to leave right at the start and miss much of year 11), I was thinking of going on 6 or 3 month exchange to England or the USA or Spain between the end of Year 11 and the start of Year 12.
Has this been done, I'm looking for basic feedback and any advice, I'm even considering taking a beginners Spanish course and going there.
Edit: I have decided I would love to go to Spain and I am going to enrol in a spanish course at the community college regardless of whether I go or not and I would also love some advice in this department.
