Module One Revision

If your school is currently completing the first module, i.e Identification & Production of Materials, get the revision booklet from above.

It contains questions on all the main aspects of the 1st module, and contains some helpful answers as well.

The best way to revise your what you have learnt, is always by completeing questions!

I have a question for chemistry students out there:

Q). What do you think is a reasonable tuition rate for HSC Chemistry, on an hourly basis?

IMO for a private tutor (1 on 1) who has very good credentials $20-$30 an hour.

EDIT: Im talking about an uni student lol

i'd pay up to $50/hr for a good private tutor but nothing more than that.
my tutoring at the moment is really good

$50 per hour is quite expensive for a HSC tutor, however you cant really put a price on achieveing excellent results!

In most cases though, such a rate would be standard for tutors with at least a masters degree.

I was paying $60 for a hour and half, and it was a little class of 2 - 4 depending on who turned up, and honestly the tutor was so useless, i learnt nothing out of the 8 weeks that i went to him, since he always was out of the room and was more focused with his gut then tutoring us.....!

I've been around for quite a few years now, and i know most chemistry tutors in Sydney, and that guy at master coaching 'tutoring' chemistry, well i think you get it!!

oh really? that sucks.
because it would be a lot more effective.. maybe they should have a tuition section in each of the subject forums.

If they did, then those forum's would get clustered with tuition notices, and would distract users from the more important posts.

Our presence here is more just to help some students out with a few questions they may have with school work, hence out posts in the Chemistry Forum.

However, no one posting over there should expect anyone else to do their homework!
