hi everyone.
we have to do a speech for english ext as part of the "socially unacceptable" module. The topic is;

"Texts are a product of their time and place"
Discuss this statement in the light of your own research into texts and their contexts.

Text- Frankenstein(which i'm fine with) and a piece of other related material

does anyone know what would be a good piece of orm for this, film or song(as i am running out of time)??????? i am so stuck.......and trying to avoid anything that is overly brutal

appropriation contructed through humor- parody

we did this last term.
But we didn't have to do related material, just Frankenstien.
Just choose any text and you can pretty much agrue that statement, all you have to do is look for examples of the context etc. and point them out.

no, basically it is just asking for you to choose orm and talk about how its context is reflected through the novel. but it is all okay as i have had a few ideas.
