question 1 was pretty good. everyone is saying that the source was too narrow and closed but it was pretty open to a number of discussions if u looked at it closely. all u had to do was make a judgement on jenkin's views, stating which historians share jenkin's views and which dont. u could have talken about the historian'c context and how this shapes history as jenkin stated that history was problematic. u could also state how history becomes blurred because it is in the hands of powerful people, and thus bring in vincent about the payroll historian.
u could even have talked about how history is difficult cause people have different aims for history. so it was pretty good.
question 2- was a friggin bit**. u had to relate how changing evidence changes the debate. it was abit hard to mould everything together, especially in an hour. yet i still managed to write 8 pages, and i geuss u could have said that the differing pieces of evidence people used causes different interpretations.
