extra subjects for yr 12 (1 Viewer)

today our principal invited our maths class and he informed us about some subjects (which count to the UAI and scale very well). Also when u finish, u leave with a University certificate which would look very nice on ur resume if your going for a job

I was wondering who here is hoping to take up any of the distinction courses offered at universities. These courses are for those who are accelerated in a subject and archieve >=90 in the HSC.

Theres a choice of 3 subjects, cosmology, comparitive literature and philosophy. I personally wanna do cosmology if i make it.

i thought u had to complete the highest level of yr 12 subject offered to apply for a distinction...like u had to finnish 4 unit maths in yr 11 or 3 unit music in yr 11 to be able to apply for it..my school offers it only that way....and u haftfa do really well to apply for it as well... :|

these 3 subjects are only offered at unis

for kimmeh, i dont fink its harder how my skool offered it because doing 4u maths in yr 11 would be an awful a lot of work

my friend did 4u maths in yr11

and i dun think u need to get over 90, i think a pass is enough as long as the course is the highest diffculty as possible...
