I failed a subject im not majoring in, in first year. Will it limit me from doing honours or masters in future years even if i do have a credit + average.

It will depend on how the school calculates the entry to honours for your respective degree.

You'll need to consult the school website or ring/email the student office of your school for more information as each school's policies generally range quite wildly between each other.

I'd say it wouldn't...but once again, the only way to find out is to consult the Faculty Office/Discipline you're thinking of Honouring in.
