Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know about ALL of the Frontline episodes
Yes, because they can ask you to refer to a specific episodes. It is more likely that they will ask you to refer to ones of your choosing, but in a previous HSC they have asked to refer to a specific episode, so know them all.

Lol, well the Frontline Syllabus is abit ambiguous though there is of course NO NEED to mention all episodes, unless if you have all the time in the world, the examiners will not expect you to mention all episodes. All you need to do is know 2 episodes in depth, or if you're game, try an extra 2 more but talk about if superficially.

I'm doing 2 episodes + 2 related texts ... seems a good balance IMO.

sigh.

but i still do NOT like this module.

Wow- that was amazing! Zillion thanks! But can i just clarify something- The syllabus refers to Medium of Production and Textual form - what's the difference? The MoP of Frontline is Television and Textual form is current affairs show? Confused:S

lawl. This is probably the most useful module outta all of them. I personally have taken away so much knowledge of the media and that'll prolly stay with me for ages to come.

textual form is probably achieved by the use of a handheld camera, this conveys the idea that this is a 'mocumentary'
