Who here is fasting for ramadan? I know that it is not part of your religion to see it as a disadvantage but for the better, but what are your views?

I just couldn't do that. If I'd don't have a lot of food before exams, I can't think properly

It's not that bad... after one or two days you get used to it. And the time spent eating can be used for studying :D

If anything it'd be breaking the tradition. But yeah, probably compromise

i didnt fast but i barely ate at all. i lived off v drinks for about a month before, and the way thru the exams... not a good idea, i just couldn't eat. i would have much preferred to eat tho!

I'm not because I can't (I'm diabetic)... I guess I probably would fast during the HSC If I wasn't.

eat weetbix!!! have you seen the ad - funny how they've put it on tele NOW, so close to start of exams!!

would it be a sin to postpone ramadan for the purpose of the HSC? i don't know much about it, so if anyone would like to enlighten me...

im not fasting during the HSC....i made a choice of whats important at this time
if you think about it...you will be hungry during the exam and after the exam...much worse off so there goes all the study time

But if you were a true believer, HSC would definetly be a secondary concern

I think it would be stupid to do it to be honest.

But all the better, a few less people with high UAI ranks.
