I duno if this thread has been done before, i looked though.

I just wanted to know, because theres some serious talent on our shores and i'm mighty proud of it aswell.

something for kate - paul dempsy is a baed and he knows it too (and steph = sex :eek:)

ACDC with bon scott would by my favourite (brian johnson's work is pretty solid as well)
Cold Chisel with Jimmy Barnes would be up there too, and of course INXS always makes the list :)

there are tonnes of underground metal bands around here that are pretty amazing too.

My tastes slide way towards british music, but the occasional Aus act stands out. I also loved The Dissociatives album.
