1. GoF- the best book.
2. PoA- good
3. HBP- Would be No.1 if not for the ending
4. OotP- poor Sirius
5. CoS- This had the makings of a great book, I loved the creepy Tom Riddle bits, and Harry's parseltongue but for no reason I can put my finger on, it just fell flat. It could be Lockhart of course.
6. HP& TPS- too kiddish.

lol at school only some people do because most people read it. its only the people who try to be cool or who have a big mental defficiency that tease you about it.
it'll be interesting to see what kind of people tease others about it in uni. probably the 'non-conformist' types and the cool college "i can't believe they like that" students. lol, stereotypes. either way, doesn't bother me one bit.

My favourites would be Prisoner of Azkaban and the Order of the Phoenix.

POA probably revealed the most of any of the books

PoA is probably still the best, although Half Blood Prince (just finished) is pretty good. I agree the ending isn't so good (last 4 ish pages) with Rufus. Never the less, it's been a long time since i've been interested in Harry Potter, i look forward to the new one.

I haven't read the last Harry potter book. What is it about?

Well I stopped reading Harry Potter due to "Order of the Phoenix". Don't like that book. >.< It seems like its dragged on and on...

1. PoA (twists and turns galore, compelling characters, interesting philosophical stuff about time travelling - NB this movie's my favourite too)
2. HBP (tied up many loose ends, but still skilfully opened up more, although Dumbledore's death bumped it down to 2nd place)
3. PS/SS (it grabbed my attention first when I read it, aged 9, so I will always have a soft spot for it)
4. GoF (it was interesting - Harry growing up and stuff, just a little teen drama, the coolness of the concept of the Triwizard tournament...)
5. CoS (would've been higher if she'd beefed it up a bit more so we could SEE it fitted the overall plotline)
6. OotP (overuse of caps, and it seemed a bit sprawling and predictable in bits, besides, Sirius broke my heart...)

PoA cause it was the last book before they began to look like dictionaries.
