I just completed the HSC. And I found Ancient Egypt one of my favourite historical periods to study. 
What other topics are you doing for ancient? I could be of some help if you are ever stuck on anything I have completed.

i prefer doing ancient Rome because i studied alot of ancient egypt from year 7 through to year 11 and found that i enjoyed Roman society more. I don't mind the Greeks either.
if you end up doing Agrippina, Greek world 500-440 BC, Roman society from Augustus to Titus or Augustus and the Julio-Cluadians i would be more than happy to send you some notes.
