and where would he play? he wont get called up, especially with euro 2004 around the corner, unless someone gets injured.

Liverpool..............................................

.........................................................how exciting

i agree, Wright Phillips is an awesome player. He would be so much more dynamic than GARY NEVILLE (great name) at right back.

but wright phillip is more of an attacking player with his speed and skill

playing as a RB will expose the lack of aerial and possible strength at the right back position...atm, G.Neville is the best option for england unless Glen comes up with this awesome form...

If only Phillips played on the Left Flank, then he'd surely get a call up.

As for Chelski, I think they should replace some of their strikers. They're only marginally better than Liverpool's strikers.

Also, Chelski's 3rd keeper from Italy was amazing. Much better than ol Sullivan.

Who reckons Owen will go on a scoring spree now? He just got 2 albeit against Pompey.

Crespo/Mutu vs Owen/Heskey???

Crespo belongs in the Serie A
Mutu will possibly be another Zola

Owen was a wonderkid but has dropped slightly
Heskey............................................................. :D

apparently ABRAMOVIC offer Crespo+20 million for Shevchenko...

what he probably hasn't realised (having been too busy dealing with the Ukrainian Mafia) is that Silvio Berlusconi is richer than he is and is also the prime minister of an entire country and DINES personally with Andriy regularly..

its kinda like, the local nerdy BscIT student at UTS offering his life savings plus his grandmothers soul in exchange for the Microsoft corporation :)

and of course milan turned down...the best strike force in the premiership atm is van nistrooy and saha

to be fair baros is the preffered striker to partner owen these days and he does look damn good whenever he's been on the pitch.

He does, that's why Houllier dropped him against Portsmouth a couple of days back for Heskey  . Damn the man is an idiot.

yeah they would be if, the midfield could start giving them some good through balls and crosses to score with. Manchesters midfield has disappeared in the last few weeks, only person doing work is scholes.

I was about to say Man Utd need some creativity, when I thought about Giggs and Ronaldo. They have flanks for attack but they don't have an attacking force from midfield since Saha moved, Scholes was doing well just behind V Nisterooy.

I'm still of the opinion that Fergie should get someone to temporarily injury Henry, that would make for entertaining viewing esp in ECL.

chelsea have so many options mutu/crespo/hasselbaink/gudjohnsen etc...
i reckon man utd's saha vrooy combo is the best atm on paper, but that doesn't always necessarily translate into winning games ... as their recent form suggests.
when reyes settles in it will be arsenal's strike force that reign supreme ...
muhahahahahahaha !!!
