Finance and working overseas (1 Viewer)

hi, i was wondering if i did a finance major, what are the chances of me gettin into a job that allows me to travel to alot of other countries (working offcourse...lol), or the chances of working overseas. cause i dont wanna sit behind a desk for my whole life

or wat other majors would give me that opportunity, i know international business would sound like a good choice, but i get the feeling that its very general and not that challenging either, but i wouldnt know 4sure as i havnt done it, so if ne1 believes otherwise, please let me know....cheers

Well im not sure if this is really your cup of tea but you said you want to travel, an accounting major will allow you to do this. Auditing would have to be to most free occupation in the world, especaily due to IFRS. Its the same everywhere you go, you not always behind the desk, its 50/50 behind the desk, talking to the client. Work at a Big-4 and you go where you want once your a CA.

But it all depends on what you want to do...
