$\bg_white The solid remaining from the evaporating basin is considered as the TDS. You normally don't include residue from filter paper in TDS calculations I think.$

$\bg_white Therefore, mass of TDS is 'Mass of evaporating basin' - 'Mass of basin and solid remaining'$

$\bg_white ∴ 44.67 - 43.53 = 1.14 grams$

$\bg_white To find percentage of TDS, use the mass of TDS over the water sample as a fraction then make it a percentage by multiplying by 100$

$\bg_white \frac {1.14} {250}$ $\bg_white x 100$ $\bg_white = 0.46 \%$

TDS is found by evaporation to dryness
so the solid remaining in the basic after evaporation is the mass of the TDS, which is 44.67-43.53 = 1.14

now to find the percentage, divide this by 250 mLs and times it by 100
= 0.46% (to 2sf)
