Well, what previous finance courses have you done and to what extent did you like them?

And why are you doing 2nd year finance course in your first year at uni? Or is your info wrong, because I'm pretty sure that you can't complete a Commerce degree in two years?

FINS2624 is... Portfolio Management

FINS2643 is Wealth Management.

I can say that FINS2624 is like FINS1613 (Business Finance) in terms of its... emphasis on the quantitative.

Oh right. Cheers. CBF looking it up myself.

I would definitely do portfolio managment. It's pretty fundemental stuff.

Wealth Management was a pretty good course, all about the practicalities of financial advice. If you follow it up with Wealth Mgmt Advice (3637) you will meet ASIC's RG146 requirements allowing you to legally become a financial advisor, which is currently my back-up career should economics fail me.

Sorry FINS2624 is Portfolio Management, FINS2643 is Wealth Management.
Didn't realise there was a prerequisite for Wealth Management.... that makes my choice a little easier then!!!
