All these schools I never heard of like Canberra Grammar. Gonna be quite interesting to see the top achievers list tmmr.

Will be stock standard tbh. Each year has a few rand schools.

Haha someone from my mum's old high school topped Standard English (and it's not a good school from what she was telling me). Also someone from my suburb topped Hospitality at a low-ranked school too!

Fort Street as possible wild card

Hmm maybe ~10th this year. If you take away that one kid they only had 2 first in course (which is still good obviously, but not enough to being them to top 5 in my opinion). I think they were just really lucky and had a genius student this year. It clearly wasn't just the school improving that got them there since they topped in a subject where they had an outside tutor.

Analysing previous rankings, and having knowledge of last year's cohort and have spoken to students from this years, that have told me about the general performance over the past year.

Yeah, rankings are done by number of band sixes iirc? So a couple of great marks won't pull up their rank too much
